Exploring Interaction Patterns in EFL Teaching and Learning Context

This study talked about interaction patterns in EFL teaching and learning context which aims to explore types of implemented by the teachers, problems faced solutions done solve problems. The problem this was formulated into three namely; 1) what do teachers use English?, 2) What are applying English, 3) How implementing English?. research a form qualitative descriptive research. conducted toward qualified at Language Development Center IAIN Padangsidimpuan together with students who English them. instruments used were observation interview. found that there some applied English. They group work, full class interaction, close ended questioning, open individual choral responses, initiate answer. From these patterns, two dominantly i.e. work interaction.
